Omnimedics - About Us

Omnimedics is a Czech medical device distributor that was originally a consultant company. Since 2006, it represents Thoratec Corporation (2016 part of Abbott), which is a world leader and real pioneer in the development and production of systems for mechanical circulatory support for acute and chronic heart failure.

Omnimedics is currently a company with a complete product line for the treatment of acute heart failure and the final stage of chronic heart failure in adult and pediatric patients in Czech republic, Slovakia and Hungary. It also has a broad spectrum of connected services for MCS hospitals, focusing on opening an MCS program and the management of MCS patients.

Omnimedics also developed a unique set of surgical tools supporting alternative surgical approaches for implantable LVAD systems.

Omnimedics employees are fully certified for providing clinical and technical support, including the service of MCS hardware. Clinical support and training activities are always individually optimized according to custommers‘ needs and requests throughout our cooperation, including regular news and safety updates. Omnimedics is proud to provide logistics services unique to the MCS area, including 24/7 clinical, technical support.
